Lockheed Martin Technical Fellow
Robert Ghobrial is a corporate technical fellow for Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Production Operations. He is responsible for identifying next generation advanced manufacturing technologies, developing implementation strategies, and maturing the technologies into production.
Robert has over 20 years of experience in product design and production engineering, developing simulation-based trainers for flight, ground, and maritime platforms for US Armed Forces and International allies. He served as Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead for the Improvised Explosive Device Effects Simulator, M1 Abrams Tank Closed Combat Tactical Trainer, and Shoulder Launch Munitions programs. He has led international projects in Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Turkey, Egypt, and Mexico. He has been awarded the Evening of the Stars Technical Excellence award and the All-In Award for Technical Innovation from Lockheed Martin.
Robert is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in business administration. He is active within the national manufacturing community as a member of SME, and has presented at several industry conferences and symposiums in US, Germany, and Mexico.
